There’s nothing to download from a store. It installs straight from this page and sits on your home screen like any other app.

  1. 1Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. 2Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. 3Tap Add.

Android

  1. 1Tap Install above, or open the three-dot menu.
  2. 2Tap Install app or Add to Home Screen.
  3. 3Confirm, and it lands with your other apps.

Computer

Chrome or Edge

  1. 1Click Install above, or find the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
  2. 2Click Install.
  3. 3It opens in its own window from then on.

Once it’s installed it opens full screen, with no address bar, and stops you’ve already looked at stay readable when your signal drops between stations. Countdown clocks and service alerts come live from the MTA, so those still need a signal. It updates itself — there’s never a new version to go and get.
